The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum continues. On Friday, several representatives from the Higher School of Economics took part in the discussions. Olga Filatova, Professor of Practice at the HSE Graduate School of Business, spoke about the Hybrid Offices study, while Lev Jakobson, Vice-President of the HSE University, gave an expert opinion at a session on network communities. "Trust is what we are lacking," emphasised Lev Jakobson. On June 5, the SPIEF will host a discussion with the participation of Yaroslav Kuzminov, Rector of the HSE University.
In the contest organized by AIM2Flourish, students from various countries tell stories about companies that promote the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. HSE students won in the global goals of ‘Quality Education’ and ‘Partnerships for the Goals’ with cases of Kaspersky and VimpelCom PJSC (Beeline brand), respectively. They have become the first Russian representatives to earn these prestigious awards.
The event was dedicated to Russian Entrepreneurship Day, which is celebrated on May 26. The guests of the forum were not only students of the HSE University, but also students from other Moscow universities. They were able to find out about internships in partner companies of the forum and personally interact with successful Russian businesses.
HSE University is now represented in eight subject rankings of the Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects. In five of these subjects, HSE is the only university from Russia, and in three other subjects, HSE outranks its domestic peers. HSE University is thereby the highest-ranking Russian university in the ranking.
