The Association of Asia-Pacific Business Schools (AAPBS) is the first association of business schools in the region, which GSB has joined. It is a non-profit organisation established in 2001. Its aim is to ensure the improvement of the business and management education quality in the Asia-Pacific region. For the GSB, joining the association is an important part of the strategy of international relations development.

On August 31, the opening ceremony of the auditorium named after Alexander Nikolaevich Dyatlov, Dean of the HSE State University’s Faculty of Management in 1995-2000, took place in the first building of Shabolovka campus. Alexander Nikolayevich started his research activities in the field of economic forecasts in the late 1980s and joined the HSE State University in 1994.
At HSE, not only professors evaluate students, but also students can give their assessment of lecturers and choose the best courses. Thus, according to the students' opinion, 83 lecturers of the HSE Graduate School of Business became the best in the 2023 academic year.

The Third Caucasus Mountain Forum on Sustainable Tourism took place on July, 4-6, 2023 in Kutaisi State University named after Akaki Tsereteli. Margarita Stukova won in the Finance and Investment category, while Sergey Smetanin, a graduate of the Master's programme in Electronic Business and Digital Innovations, topped the Science and Technology category.

Researchers of the HSE Graduate School of Business trained a machine-learning (ML) model to infer users’ subjective wellbeing from social media posts. Having processed 10 million tweets, the researchers compiled a rating of holidays celebrated in Russia based on their popularity. The New Year tops the list, but Russian-speaking users of Twitter are also happy to celebrate Defender of the Fatherland Day, International Women’s Day, Victory Day and Halloween. The study findings have been published in PeerJ Computer Science.
On March 12, HSE University will hold a university-wide Open Day for prospective students of bachelor’s and specialist programmes. The event will be held in the Pokrovka Building and will feature presentations by faculties and campuses, a talk by the Admissions Office, activities from student organisations, a tour of the university’s historical buildings and much more.
