The results of the 10th International Competition for the Best Scientific and Educational Publication "Akademus" have been announced. Faculty members of the Department of Operations Management and Logistics at the HSE Graduate School of Business — Gennady Brodetsky, Victoria Gerami, and Ivan Shidlovsky — have been announced as laureates of the competition in the "Economics and Management" category for their work "Multi-Criteria Decision Making in Supply Chains".

Maxim Rozhkov, Associate Professor at the Department of Operations Management and Logistics of the HSE Graduate School of Business, has been recognized among the top reviewers of the scientific journal International Journal of Production Research for the third consecutive year.

Ivan Shidlovsky, an associate professor in the Department of Operational Management and Logistics at the Higher School of Business, National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE), has become one of the winners of the Russian Science Foundation's competition for initiative research projects by young scientists.

Students of the International Business program at the HSE Graduate School of Business took part in the summer school organized by the Faculty of Organizational Sciences (FON) at the University of Belgrade (Serbia). The week-long intensive program focused on current issues in modern management, including resource efficiency, the green transition, and principles of responsible business conduct.

HSE Graduate School of Business Associate Professor Ekaterina Ivanova, participated in the PRME Global Forum 2026 under the theme “Global Unity Meets Local Impact” from June 29 to July 2 hosted by the American University in Cairo. The forum brought together leaders in responsible management education from around the world to advance sustainable and ethical business practices. This year's Responsible Management Education (RME) Week gathered over 400 scholars, educators, practitioners, and student communities from 58 countries across all regions of the world.

From 6 to 15 May 2026, HSE GSB bachelor students of the International Business programme and master students of the International Management programme took part in an intensive educational programme in China, organised by one of China's leading universities – Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). The ten-day course focused on global business decision-making, the digital economy and technological innovation in the age of artificial intelligence.

In a world where economic power is steadily shifting toward the East, Russia’s ties with Asian countries are becoming strategically important. HSE Graduate School of Business is taking an important step in this direction. On February 17, 2026, the first meeting of the Expert Council of the Center for Asian Business and Management Research (CABMR) was held. The event marked the start of building an interdisciplinary platform that brings together research, education and business to study Asia in a comprehensive way.

HSE Graduate School of Business has signed cooperation and exchange agreements with the Business Faculty of City University of Macau (China) and XLRI School of Management in India.

The multimedia business game on financial accounting has won the autumn Educational Innovations Fund competition. The simulator, developed by a team from the Higher School of Business at HSE under the leadership of Yulia Sergeevna Leevik, helps students master complex topics in an engaging format through practical assignments.

HSE Graduate School of Business hosted a seminar titled “Business Education Today: Challenges, Trends, Solutions,” organized jointly with the Russian Association of Business Education (RABE).
