Students of the HSE Graduate School of Business chose the best professors

At HSE, not only professors evaluate students, but also students can give their assessment of lecturers and choose the best courses. Thus, according to the students' opinion, 83 lecturers of the HSE Graduate School of Business became the best in the 2023 academic year.

Student evaluation is one of the key elements of the HSE ecosystem. With the help of the electronic voting system, students have the opportunity to choose no more than four favourite professors. Two main principles of the feedback system — it is mandatory and anonymous. This system helps the GSB management to evaluate the educational process taking into account the opinion of all participants who can openly express it. 

Alumni also have their right to vote: those who graduated in 2022 also received a special email with a survey, where they could indicate three professors whose work and assistance were the most memorable during their studies. In addition, the academic supervisors of students who won the Research Paper Competition (RPC) were honoured as the best teachers. 

Thanks to the feedback, which includes text comments, HSE professors can analyse the content of courses and their approach to teaching, and the HSE management can adjust curricula and improve the quality of the educational process as a whole.
