The winners of the prestigious 2024 Flourish Prize international competition dedicated to celebration of business as an agent of world benefit are this year's graduates of the Master's programme in International Management at the HSE Graduate School of Business. Daria Plotnikova, Ahmad Fahim Enayat, Nim Sisil Damayantha Panavala Kankanamge, Zohrab Serobian and Aysenem Bazarova, under the guidance of Ekaterina Ivanova, Associate Professor of GSB Strategic and International Management Department, won the 2024 Flourish Prize. They were awarded for the story of ‘Digital Technologies and Rehabilitation’ from Motorica company in the nomination of the UN Global Goal 3 ‘Good Health and Wellbeing’.

On June, 28, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE) hosted the presentation of the student project “Testing Elements of the Eurasian Trade House Concept”, which is a joint initiative of the RUIE, the REC Export School and the HSE University.

Over 400 marketing and PR directors and mass communication specialists from 46 regions of Russia took part in the survey on artificial intelligence in marketing and communications.

On June, 17-23, a delegation of Chinese businessmen from small and medium-sized enterprises visited Moscow to study business opportunities in Russia. 25 delegates represent the Jinjiang Youth Chamber of Commerce in China. The businessmen are interested in the market niches opened after the departure of Western companies.

Domingo Garcia, the president and founder of CCLAR (the Latin American Chamber of Commerce in the Russian Federation), a Mexican, has this year completed his studies at the HSE Graduate School of Business on the International Management Master's programme. But he has no plans to move to his home country, and wants to live in Moscow, develop his organisation, attract new partners and start a family with a Russian girl. In an interview with "Vyshka.Glavnoe" he told us why he decided to move to Russia and enrol at the GSB.

Certain stereotypes have long been formed about African countries: for example, that these countries have poor education, low level of technological progress and economic development. However, in the 21st century, the African continent is rapidly developing in all these areas, and the HSE Graduate School of Business has already received the first results of the new partnership in the region.

Foreign students from HSE University recently took part in the project of the School of Entrepreneurship for international students ‘Start your business with Moscow!’. Wang Yue, 31, first-year student of the HSE GSB Master's programme in International Management from China, became one of the most active participants in the project. The HSE Graduate School of Business held an open expert session with leading specialists from Sberbank and IT companies. "On the Way to Breakthroughs: Challenges and Opportunities of Artificial Intelligence in Business, Science, Education and Public Administration" was the theme of the meeting.

The HSE Graduate School of Business held a round table "Managing Sustainable Development of Companies: Changing Focus and Priorities". The event was held as part of the Priority-2030 Strategic Academic Leadership Programme.

On 2 April, the final of the Changellenge Cup IT 2024 case championship took place. The team of the HSE Graduate School of Business, consisting of three members: Bulat Iskhakov, Masha Danilyuk and Katya Belosludtseva, won the competition. All team members are first year students of the Supply Chain Management and Business Analytics undergraduate programme at GSB.
