HSE Graduate School of Business trains a new generation of leaders

On July 18, HSE Graduate School of Business held a graduation ceremony at its Shabolovka campus for students of the Center for Executive Education. This year’s graduates completed six educational tracks, each covering key areas of modern management:

  • HR 3.0: Human Capital Management

  • Brand Management

  • Marketing Management

  • Product Management: Product Development and Product Marketing

  • Project Management: Methodology, Technologies, Practice

  • Corporate Financial Analyst

The programs were designed to build strong managerial skills in HR, marketing, product and project management, and corporate finance. Participants learned tools for strategic and operational management, business analytics, digital technologies, and business process transformation. Special emphasis was placed on systems thinking, cross-functional collaboration, managerial flexibility, and decision-making in highly uncertain environments.

Graduates included current managers and specialists from leading Russian and international companies such as Sberbank, Raiffeisenbank, MKB Bank, Hoff, INEX LLC, Denuo, Atlant-M, as well as professionals from small and medium-sized enterprises, consulting firms, and regional businesses.

The ceremony opened with a speech from Galina Mozhayeva, Deputy Director of HSE Graduate School of Business and Director of the Center for Executive Education. She congratulated the graduates on this important step in their professional journey:

"In today’s world, it’s impossible to be successful without lifelong learning. You managed to find the time — despite your demanding schedules — to join our retraining programs, complete them, and successfully graduate. We are proud of you. You are the best of the best!
I encourage you not to stop here. In September 2025, we will open enrollment for updated retraining and professional development programs. And in October 2025, our flagship MBA program will begin.
Dear graduates, the doors of HSE GSB are always open to you — we look forward to seeing you in new educational formats and exciting projects!"

Academic directors and instructors of the Center’s programs also shared their words of encouragement.

"Dear graduates, I hope that the knowledge and skills you gained during the program are already being put to good use in your work.
Thank you for making the learning process so engaging! I’m especially grateful for the real-life cases you brought to class — they enriched our experience and helped us all learn from one another.
You’ve gained not only practical skills but also valuable professional and personal connections that, I hope, will soon become trusted business partnerships.
Keep going, and don’t be afraid to explore new horizons!"

"Dear colleagues, as of today, you are part of a powerful professional community of program alumni. Together, we can bring even the boldest projects to life!
On behalf of the entire teaching team, I want to say: we believe in your success and congratulate you on this meaningful milestone.
This is not goodbye — we hope to see you soon at the Project Management Club and Alumni Club meetings here at HSE GSB. Wishing you rewarding and successful projects ahead!"

Graduates, in turn, noted the high quality of instruction, the usefulness and intensity of the programs, and the supportive atmosphere throughout their studies.

Karen Khachaturyan

Graduate of the Marketing Management Program; Director of Marketing and Business Development, Denuo Law Firm

"Our group was one of the largest in the program’s history — over 50 people from different generations: Zoomers, Millennials, and Gen X. What united us was our shared desire to grow and develop in our professions.
In the end, we gained far more than we expected when we first chose this program. In my view, its biggest strength is the constant exchange of experience between professionals with diverse backgrounds.
I want to sincerely thank our instructors. Some of us discovered marketing as a new career path, while others — with more experience — found new meaning in the work they already do.
Thank you for your passion, patience, attention to each student, and for motivating us to keep moving forward.
I’m continuing my education in the MBA program and plan to apply to the HSE Doctoral School in Management afterward. And a big thank-you to my classmates — it’s been an amazing year!"

The ceremony concluded with the awarding of professional retraining diplomas — formal recognition of the graduates’ advanced qualifications and readiness to take on new career challenges.
