Master-class "UNIQLO going forward: new challenges in a new market" has passed at the Faculty of business and management on 21 February 2017. It was provided by Anna Lemeshkina, head of marketing of UNIQLO, and HR-specialist Svetlana Orekhova.
HSE’s Faculty of Business and Management and Faculty of Economic Sciences were in the top three of the faculties most sought after by employers in Russia.
On December 8th, a meeting with Proctor and Gamble representatives was held on faculty of Business and Management. The speakers from the P&G were: Evgeny Yagnyatinsky, the director of the IT-department; Anna Morozova, HR-Manager; Anastasia Rozhdestvenskaya, the analyst.
Elena Yakovleva was graduated from the Faculty of Business and Management in 2001, she worked at the Institute of Corporate Entrepreneurship of the Higher School of Economics. Elena also worked in consulting, made a career in a company with state participation. Now she works as the head of the educational program for successors at the Moscow School of Management ‘SKOLKOVO’. Since 2010 besides the main work Elena is engaged in projects in order to draw attention to the classical guitar.
Ivan Kamakin, the 2nd year student of the School of Business Informatics, and the faculty analyst Olesya Sinitsina as part of the team Dolphin Blockchain Itelligence (among other participants are Alexander Nikolaev, Andrey Varnavskiy, Sergey Vivier, Pavel Sidorov and Alexander Garkusha) became the winners of the hackathon in blockchain-projects development.
A five-day Internet-Entrepreneurship School was held at the Russian Engineering Festival. During the five days of the School, the participants had to develop and realize their startup projects.
A conference and hackathon was organized by the MSU Business Incubator and QIWI group, focusing on technologies and products that change traditional business models and leave unnecessary mediators behind.
On April 22, 2016 a PhD seminar on management ‘Contemporary Management Research in Emerging Markets: New Challenges and Perspectives’ was held at HSE as part of the XVII April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development. Thirty doctoral students from Russia and four doctoral students from the USA, Europe and the CIS countries took part in the event.
10th International Student Conference on Contemporary Problems and Trends in Logistics and Supply Chain Management Development was held in School of Logistics on April 27-28, 2016. The conference was attended by the bachelors, masters and postgraduate students, representatives of the School of logistics of HSE and other leading universities of Russia and Germany, as well as CIS countries. The total number of participants exceeded 200 people.
A team which includes several HSE students has won the SAP InnoJam hackaton in Moscow. The winners will now move forward to the SAP InnoJam in Europe this autumn.
