GSB Professors are to Participate in Educational Seminars ‘EdTech 2020 - Beyond the Pandemic Emergency’ Organized by CEEMAN

The pandemic has challenged the educational system and its stakeholders and called for a rapid transformation that would enable students to get quality learning experience in a safe environment.

GSB faculty already has sufficient experience in online and hybrid learning formats. Nevertheless, the wheels of progress never stop turning, and along with the limitations the pandemic brought to education new tools that allow increase student engagement, teaching efficiency, and improve overall online learning experience.

This is what the educational seminars ‘EdTech 2020 - Beyond the Pandemic Emergency’ will cover. The seminars, organised by CEEMAN, a long-standing GSB partner, are not only theoretical, they use the best global practices and are more about actual experience.

The EdTech 2020 seminars offer participants from all over the world an opportunity to find the best way to organise an effective online teaching system and to improve the quality of online classes, as well as to increase student interest and learning outcomes by using available online tools to the maximum extent possible. The three weeks workshops are designed to set an example of such interaction with an emphasis on interactivity and shared creativity.

GSB will be represented on the seminars by a team from 3 departments: deputy head of the Department of Strategic and International Management, associate professor Svetlana Smeltsova; deputy head of the Department of Marketing, associate professor Alexander Manin; deputy head of the Department of Operations Management and Logistics, associate professor Andrey Vinogradov; associate professor of the Department of Operations Management and Logistics Anastasia Ivanova; associate professor of the Department of Strategic and International Management Zokirzhon Saidov.
