619 HSE students entered the Jaguar Game Changer Business case competition. It is the first event of this kind organised as part of HSE’s cooperation with Jaguar Land Rover.

He gave an honorary lecture on ‘Dynamics of Online Marketplaces for STEM Talent: Innovation 2.0’ on the third day of theApril Conference and spoke to HSE News service about his impressions of the conference, emerging economies marketing trends and other perspectives.

Professor Wesley J. Johnston from Georgia State University, College of Business is a keynote speaker at the April Conference seminar Contemporary Management Research in Emerging Markets. He is a Member of the HSE Council and has been collaborating on projects since 2011 with Olga Tretyak, Academic Supervisor at the Faculty of Management Research and Study Group for Russian Marketing Studies 'Modern Marketing Practices'. During a break at the conference Professor Johnston talked to HSE English News service about the benefits for PhD students of participating in conferences, about the functions of marketing and marketing in Russia and about his fruitful cooperation with HSE.
Master’s students at the HSE Faculty of Business and Management, Viktoria Andrukhnenko and Yegor Burdy took first place in the Google Cup Moscow Case Championship. 214 student teams from Russia and the CIS were competing.
From 30th March to 3rd April, 50 German students attended a session of the Business in Russia programme, run jointly by HSE and DAAD and the German Chamber of Foreign Trade since 2012. Students on the programme do six-month internships in German company offices in Russia and prepare group projects on various themes, under the guidance of HSE professor Natalya Guseva.
Marina Predvoditeleva, Associate Professor at the HSE Faculty of Management and Elizaveta Slevitch, Associate Professor at the Department of Hotel and Restaurant Administration (Oklahoma State University) talk about the first results of cooperation between Oklahoma State University and HSE on the specialisation 'Tourism and Hotel Management' on the Master’s programme 'Experience Economy: Hospitality and Tourism Management'.
On 16th March HSE held a seminar for students from Rutgers Business School. The event was organised jointly by Alexander Settles and the HSE School of Business and Business Administration. Students from the faculty and guests from the US took part.
The ‘big’ Faculty of Business and Management is being formed at the Higher School of Economics. The Faculty will include the current Faculties of Management, Logistics, and Business Informatics, which will be turned into schools.
