FBM Organized the EPAS Accreditation Seminar for HSE Programmes
Professor Valery Katkalo, FBM Dean and EFMD Vice-President explained EPAS accreditation criteria, process and standards, emphasizing the importance of the systemic internationalization of any programme selected for this accreditation.
Professor Sergei Kadochnkikov, Director of HSE Сampus in St Petersburg, and Olga Okulova, Director of Centre for International Accreditations & Networking Programmes, HSE St Petersburg, shared the experience of taking the Master programme 'Finance' at HSE St Petersburg School of Economics & Management through the accreditation process.
Today EPAS EFMD is the most globally respected accreditation system for university-level business and management programmes. EPAS evaluates all aspects of a programme by dozens of criteria with particular emphasis on the three elements of the quality management system: high academic level of curriculum and faculty, the level of internationalization of a programme in question and its connection with business.
Currently 113 programmes from 82 institutions and 35 countries have been granted with EPAS accreditation, including 3 from Russia:
- Bachelor in International Economics & Business, Graduate School of Economics and Management, Ural Federal University;
- Master in Finance, HSE St Petersburg School of Economics & Management;
- Bachelor of Management, Lomonosov Moscow State University Business School.
