Campus
Classes will be held on Shabolovka. The Shabolovka campus consists of several buildings with convenient internal walkways, as well as well-developed building infrastructure (coworking spaces, cafés, a library). There are 10 buildings in total on Shabolovka. Buildings 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are connected by internal walkways. Restrooms are located in each building on every floor. Buildings 9 and 10 are large lecture halls with separate cloakrooms and restrooms.

The academic buildings on Shabolovka are open Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 11 pm.
For those who can't put down their phones, the easiest way is to use the navigation feature in the HSE App X or the Vyshka.Navigation (‘Вышка.Навигация’) app. Learn more about the apps here (in Russian).
For adventure seekers, there are convenient maps and wayfinding signs around campus—you'll never get lost with them. If you know the number of your classroom, finding it isn't too difficult:
- The first digit of the room number corresponds to the building number
- The second digit corresponds to the floor where your classroom is located
- The last two digits are the specific classroom—look for them on the signs on your floor
For example, room 3202 is in Building 3, on the 2nd floor, and has the number 02.
IMPORTANT! The first floor may be the basement level in some buildings (eg, Buildings 3 or 4).

Our campus has a canteen (Building 4, basement floor) offering a variety of hot dishes, pastries, beverages, and (most importantly) set lunches. There is also a coffee shop and vending machines with snacks.
Yes, the Graduate School of Business has several modern coworking spaces. All are located on the Shabolovka campus and are open to students and participants of all programmes:
- The Axenix Coworking Space is located on the first floor of Building 3.
2. The Alfa Space IT Coworking Space by Alfa-Bank is located on the first floor of Building 4.
Academic Process
At HSE University, each educational programme is administered by an programme office. The main mission of the programme office is to ensure a comfortable, high-quality, and efficient interaction process between students, faculty, and university administration. If you need a certificate or want to check your academic performance, transfer to a vacant state-funded spot or to another programme, or arrange an individual curriculum, feel free to contact your programme office representative.

For all academic matters, you can go to the fourth floor of Building 3.
You can view the schedule on your educational programme's page (note that the schedule displayed on the programme page is for the entire group, not individually), as well as through the HSE App X (available on Google Play and the Apple Store). If you are on university premises and connected to the HSE.Student Wi-Fi network, the schedule is also available here.
Yes, HSE University provides every student with a free corporate email address for the duration of their studies. This address is used for sending official information to students from HSE staff. Other addresses (personal student emails, group email addresses, etc) are not official sources of information about the academic process.
Your corporate email address will be sent to your personal email address. The web interface is available via http://edumail.hse.ru or https://mail.yandex.ru/.

Check your email daily! All academic information is sent there. It is also your primary channel of communication with administration, faculty, and fellow students.
To start, check that your corporate email works (in the format xxx@edu.hse.ru).
More information about your corporate email address (including what to do if you forget your password) is available here. If you cannot send or receive emails via your HSE email address, contact your programme office and ask them to submit a request to the HSE University Student Email Support Service.

All students have an electronic student ID card available in the Gosuslugi (Public Services) app. It is equivalent to a paper document and allows you to confirm your student status for discounts or purchasing discounted tickets.
To correctly generate your student ID pass information, you must follow the instructions in the iStudy system, which will be sent to your student email. Make sure to check that the following information is correct:
- Full name
- Enrolment in the correct educational programme
- Personal details: date of birth, place of birth, addresses, passport, SNILS, etc
- Phone number and personal email addresses
It is important to verify the presence/correctness of your photo in the iStudy system — instructions will be sent to your student email.
At HSE University, you have the opportunity to undergo training in military preparation programmes. The military training profiles are as closely aligned as possible with the university's main educational programmes, which reduces time commitments and improves the quality of military personnel training.

Mentors for bachelor's programmes
Mentors are second, third, and fourth-year bachelor's students at the HSE Graduate School of Business who help first-year students adapt and seamlessly integrate into university student life, fostering an atmosphere of friendship and mutual support within study groups. Moreover, mentors are happy to help even after the orientation period.
Mentors are your first friends at university, so don't hesitate to ask questions and address any concerns you may have!

The GSB has its own Career Centre, whose main goal is to help you build your dream career. The Career Centre helps arrange internships and traineeships, organises visits to enterprises and technology parks, compiles digests of current job openings, and hosts career and industry-specific events with employer companies (Career Weeks in autumn and spring, guest lectures by business experts, and Company Days).

Do you want to do a long-term or short-term internship at a foreign university? Then contact the GSB International Office!
You can choose from more than 20 partner universities and business schools around the world!
Only GSB students participate in the selection, so there's no competition with students from other faculties. If you receive a spot (quota), tuition at the partner university will be free.
To apply for the academic mobility programme, you must:
- Have good academic standing and no academic debts
- Be proficient in English and have a confirmed level of at least B2 or C1 (depending on the host university's requirements)
You also have a chance to win a scholarship that will partially cover your expenses! To be eligible, you must have a current and cumulative GPA of 7.5 or higher, and be actively involved in academic (research) and/or extracurricular activities.
