Shabolovka campus

The Graduate School of Business is located on three campuses:

• Shabolovka St. 26-28, Moscow.
• Trifonovskaya St., 1, Moscow.
• Gnezdikovsky Pereulok, 4, Moscow.

The main Shabolovka campus consists of several buildings with comfortable internal passageways and a well-developed building infrastructure. It is home to GSB departments, GSB management and classes for undergraduate and graduate students.

The Shabolovka complex was built in the first part of the 19th century as a silk factory. Its owner was Petr Goujon, a Frenchman who ate the local pigeons and flogged his female workers for their misdemeanours. In Soviet days the building acquired a statue of Dzerzhinsky and the nickname ‘Shpul’ka’ (bobbin). More information about history of the buildings: https://www.hse.ru/en/fundament/shabolovka/

There are two main entrances/exits (checkpoints) and a pass system for all staff and students on the territory of Shabolovka campus.
The first digit of the classroom corresponds to the number of the building in which it is located, the second digit corresponds to the floor on which the classroom is located, the last two digits indicate the classroom number.
Access to classrooms is restricted outside school hours. Keys are kept at the security checkpoint and are provided to teachers under their personal responsibility.
