The award ceremony will take place during the XIV International Conference on Knowledge, Culture, and Change in Organisations in Lisbon, Portugal.

Elena Sinitsina, a 2nd year student of the Postgraduate School of Management at the HSE Graduate School of Business, impressed the jury with her significant scientific achievements during the first year of her postgraduate studies. During this time she managed to publish her research in FIIB Business Review (Q3) and Journal of Asian Business Studies (Q1), as well as receive awards for the best paper at the conference of Moscow State University and in the competition of research papers of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. Elena was also invited to conduct research work as a visiting researcher at Corvinus University (Budapest, Hungary) and participated in both national and international conferences — EBES in Budapest (Hungary), IMS in Bucharest (Romania), AIB-MENA in Rabat (Morocco).

Elena Sinitsyna's work in the field of internal communications in organisations has earned recognition both nationally and worldwide.

In her research, Elena Sinitsyna studies the relationship of organisational and employee behavioural outcomes with internal organisational communications. Several papers are devoted to understanding the theoretical foundations of internal communication in an organisation and promising areas for future research, such as the role of digital communication in shaping positive employee emotions. Also with Professor Amitabh Anand, Elena is studying the negative impact of internal communications on employees, in particular reactions to the phenomenon of 'silent dismissal'.

"I believe that today it is crucial to develop an open academic community and strengthen international ties in the field of organisational sciences. Open and transparent communication is important in all areas, both for the organisations and the academy. I know this for sure, as my research topic is organisational communication," said the graduate student from the HSE Graduate School of Business.

The Emerging Scholar Awards organisation will provide an opportunity to take part in the award ceremony and also to speak at the plenary session, where Elena will be able to share her experience and challenges she faced on her research path. The Emerging Scholar Awards will take place in July and will be an important milestone in a young researcher's academic career, confirming her talent and potential.
