The HSE Graduate School of Business opened a classroom named after Alexander Nikolaevich Dyatlov, the first dean of the HSE State University’s Faculty of Management
Opening the ceremony, Valery Katkalo, Director of the HSE Graduate School of Business, praised Dyatlov's contribution to the development of the Higher School of Economics and noted that he was one of the first practicing professors who pioneered the development of the management education system at the HSE University.
Colleagues and relatives of Alexander Nikolayevich attended the ceremony. Many sincere words were spoken by Alexander Nikolayevich's widow, daughters and the HSE professors who were lucky enough to work with him. "It was Alexander Nikolayevich who invited me to the HSE University, where I still work with pleasure. Back then, the HSE University did not yet have the reputation and fame it has today, but Dyatlov's invitation was decisive for me," — Sergey Filonovich, Professor of the HSE Graduate School of Business, shared his memories.
Dyatlov had a broad outlook and was remembered not only for his talents as a teacher. In the hearts of his colleagues he remained a versatile, creative person, an excellent musician and the soul of the team.
Alexander Nikolayevich's work lives on and continues within the walls of the HSE Graduate School of Business.
