Participation in the international conference 2021 EAIE Community Exchange: virtual conference & exhibition
2021 EAIE Community Exchange: virtual conference & exhibition organised by the European Association for International Education took place this year from 28 September to 01 October. The conference was held online and hosted more than 2000 participants from 70 countries. HSE University Graduate School of Business was represented at the conference by Maria Kainova, Director of GSB International Office.
The programme revolved around 10 themes which were presented in more than 70 sessions and 50 posters. The main topics covered were: digital learning; equity and inclusion; internationalisation at home; marketing, recruitment and admissions; national, regional and global perspectives; partnerships and networks; research and doctoral education; social responsibility; stakeholder engagement and student mobility.
In addition to learning from best practices shared by leading experts and taking part in panel discussions, participants were offered the chance to book individual virtual meetings with peers from a wide range of international universities. Maria Kainova profited from this opportunity to discuss various forms of partnerships in the area of student mobility and short-term projects with representatives of leading European universities among which were Mannheim Business School (Germany), Trinity Business School (Ireland), Newcastle University Business School (UK), ISCTE Business School (Portugal) and many others. We can be certain that out of 20 meetings with the representatives of the global educational community, many will result in fruitful cooperation and new opportunities for our students to study at the world's best business schools.
