GSB Career Centre Held a Henkel Case Day

Case championships are an opportunity for students to learn how to solve real business problems and an effective way to get an internship offer at an international company.

GSB Career Centre organised this career event together with Henkel, a global leader in innovation, brands and technology in three business areas: Adhesive Technologies, Beauty Care and Laundry & Home Care.

At Henkel Case Day on May 24, students learned about Henkel's global activities and took part in a business case competition.

Four teams of like-minded people tackled a product case from the FMCG field.

The winners were 2nd-year students of Business Administration Bachelor's programme: Ekaterina Pushkarenko, Ilya Zaikin, Margarita Gorodinskaya, Anna Terleeva. The winners will receive an opportunity to undergo an accelerated selection process for an internship at Henkel.

Ekaterina Pushkarenko, Business Administration Bachelor's programme, 2nd year:

In just 2.5 hours we managed to get to know the company, solve a case, and work as a team with new people. Such a format suits busy HSE students very well!

Anna Terleeva, Business Administration Bachelor's programme, 2nd year:

Career Centre's Henkel Case Day was insanely interesting! We were able to look inside the company, at production, at the ideas that drive the company to make a particular product, at their views on promotion. Also at the end of the event we had a case solving competition, and our team "4+1" won it by proposing a very creative and unusual product, and its promotion, based on the values of the company.

The event went very well! I would love to participate in such an event again.

I enjoyed participating in the Henkel Case Day. In just a few hours, we experienced being Schwarzkopf product creators and developed a unique product.
