Natalya Shumkova Talks about New Trends in Career Development at the International Conference of the Faculty of Law

Natalya Shumkova, Deputy First Vice Rector and Director of the Centre for Corporate Training at HSE Graduate School of Business, spoke at the international conference "Globalisation and Law: Challenges of Building Global Legal Skills" held by the HSE Faculty of Law on March 25 in parallel online and offline formats.

What should modern legal education be like, what skills should university graduates have, and how is law affected by the pandemic and artificial intelligence? These and other questions were discussed by participants of the international conference. The conference was held simultaneously in offline and online formats. Natalya presented a report titled "Life-Long Learning: a problem or an opportunity?". Her presentation dealt with such issues as new trends in career development, corporate expectations for competencies of middle and senior managers, development of life-long learning habit and modern methods of adult learning.
