HSE Graduate School of Business Held the First Meeting of the Renewed Academic Council of ‘Logistics and Supply Chain Management in Business’ Programme

On November 24, the first meeting of the renewed Academic Council of ‘Logistics and Supply Chain Management in Business’ Bachelor’s programme was held.

The members of the renewed Academic Council are industry and academic leaders:

Ilya Eletskih, Chairman of the Academic Council, Director for Logistics, Coca-Cola HBC;

Evgeniy Bogdanov, Deputy Chairman of the Academic Council, Head of Transport and Mechanical Engineering in Russia and the CIS, Kearney GmbH;

Irina Agarkova, Director of Supply Chain Management and Logistics, SIBUR;

Frank Vende, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Head of the Department of Logistics and Marketing, Financial University Under the Government of the Russian Federation;

Victoria Gerami, Academic Supervisor of the Programme, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of HSE Graduate School of Business;

Sergey Grishin, Director for Sales and Supply Chain Management, ‘Verny’ supermarket chain;

Vasily Demin, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Director of Science and Education Centre of Innovative Technologies in Logistics, Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University;

Evgeniy Zenchenko, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Director of the Department of Corporate Strategy, Aeroflot;

Alexander Kolik, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor of HSE Graduate School of Business;

Andrey Pavlovich, Operating Director, Perekrestok Online;

Lubov Rozhkova, Executive Director for Strategy of Supply Chain Management, Accenture.

During the meeting, members started the conversation about the programme’s content, its improvement and international comparability according to the highest requirements set by the business environment. Participants mapped out a work plan for the academic year in association with designing curriculums, creating a profile of the programmes’ graduates, and the programme's promotion in professional field. The members discussed the necessity of knowledge and skills synthesis: learning agility, fundamental understanding of leading academic courses, and fast learning.
