More than 1,900 first-year bachelor’s and master’s students enrolled at the HSE Graduate School of Business in 2025

The Graduate School of Business has summed up the results of the 2025 admission campaign. This year, 940 students were admitted to bachelor’s programs and more than 980 to master’s programmes. Traditionally, the competition amounted to dozens of applications per state-funded place. For the first time, the competition for fee-paying places was just as high: for the bachelor’s program “International Business” – 20.1 applications per place, “Data Analysis Technologies” – 19.7; and for the joint master’s programme with Avito, “Product Management in IT Business” – 15.8.

In 2025, the Admissions Committee received more than 8,050 applications for admission to the bachelor’s programs of the HSE Graduate School of Business, with around 3,500 applicants participating in the competition. A total of 940 students were enrolled in the first year, 560 of whom were admitted to fee-paying places.

Interest in the master’s programs of the Graduate School of Business continues to grow. In 2025, admission was conducted for 10 master’s programmes, including two online programmes. More than 5,400 applications were submitted, with around 2,100 applicants taking part in the competition. A total of 986 students were enrolled in the master’s programmes of the GSB, 700 of whom are studying on a fee-paying basis.

The GSB programmes continue to attract international students: in 2025, 241 students (compared to 316 in 2024) from the CIS countries, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Guatemala, Germany, India, Indonesia, Latvia, Lithuania, China, Mongolia, Nigeria, Serbia, Pakistan, Peru, Turkey, and other countries enrolled in the bachelor’s and master’s programs.

In the new 2025/26 academic year, the GSB’s educational portfolio will include six bachelor’s programs and ten master’s programs.
