HSE GSB and Axenix join forces to train digital leaders

The HSE Graduate School of Business and Axenix have signed an agreement on a new stage of collaboration.

The partnership covers several areas at once — participation in managing educational programs, joint implementation of academic courses, and the development of modern infrastructure for student project work.

HSE GSB and Axenix join forces to train digital leaders

Executives and leading experts from Axenix are already members of the academic councils of two HSE GSB programs: the Master’s in Strategic Management: Investments and Consulting and the Bachelor’s in Business Informatics. Plans also include the Digital Product Management program. This joint work will make it possible to update curricula in line with industry needs and to design modern educational tracks for training specialists who are in demand on the market.

Starting from the 2025/26 academic year, Axenix will fully deliver the course Business Analytics and AI within the master’s program, as well as the course Requirements Management and Information Systems Design within the Business Informatics program. Classes will be taught by experienced company experts, and students will have the opportunity to work with real cases and gain relevant professional skills.

“The HSE Graduate School of Business consistently follows the principle that we do not train specialists for business; we create educational programs together with business. The partnership with Axenix is exactly such an example. The company’s experts not only deliver lectures but also join academic councils, participate in shaping curricula, propose topics for project-based learning, and work with students on real cases. All this allows students to integrate into the professional environment during their studies and gain skills that are in demand on the market here and now.”

Real business is changing so quickly that many educational institutions simply cannot keep up with transforming their curricula and teaching materials. Under these circumstances, the initiatives of the HSE Graduate School of Business to collaborate with leaders of the digital industry are especially important. For us, this partnership is a significant step in preparing future leaders of intellectual business who will soon be able to create advanced technologies for various sectors of the Russian economy and develop best practices in technological and strategic consulting at the highest global level,” says Marina Cherepanova, HR Director at Axenix.

Another area of cooperation is the development of educational infrastructure. The Axenix coworking space will continue operating on the HSE GSB campus. The modern facility, created in partnership with the company, is located on the first floor of the Shabolovka building and is fully equipped for individual and group project work. Strategic sessions, project consultations, and workshops are held here. The coworking space is open to students and participants of all HSE GSB programs and has already become a place where joint educational and business initiatives are born.

The agreement between HSE GSB and Axenix marks a new stage of collaboration focused on training specialists in close partnership with business and creating an educational environment that closely mirrors real professional practice.
