The MBA program provides not only knowledge but also a powerful networking environment among a community of leaders. For modern entrepreneurs and top managers, it is extremely important to remain in an educational environment and continue learning throughout life.

The updated MBA program at HSE Graduate School of Business covers key areas of modern management — from strategic management and corporate finance to marketing, operations management, and innovation, including the application of AI in business.

All graduates highlight one major advantage of HSE GSB: its exceptional faculty, which brings together both practitioners — leaders of successful businesses — and outstanding scholars from across the university.

Positioning itself as a business school of first choice, GSB has invested significantly in developing the MBA program, including innovative educational formats such as business simulations, interactive projects, and group assignments aimed at developing practical skills and fostering peer networking.

One of the hallmarks of the HSE GSB MBA is its effective off-site modules. The leadership intensive traditionally takes place at Lake Baikal and focuses on developing team management skills, crisis management, and the ability to make decisions under stress and uncertainty.

The most recent international module was held in partnership with Fudan University, one of the leading centers of business education in Asia. Fudan ranks among the top universities in China and Asia and is widely recognized for its high-quality teaching, research excellence, and international programs in economics and management. These off-site modules consistently receive the most positive feedback from participants.

The final part of the program was the defense of graduation projects. Participants presented solutions across a variety of sectors — from energy and tourism to industrial production and digital services. Project highlights included: the development of a new data management product, the launch and growth of a business community, a service for monetizing surplus energy capacity, and a go-to-market strategy for self-propelled electric lifts.

The graduation ceremony took place at the GSB campus. Graduates were congratulated by program faculty and business school leadership.

Our program is an intensive journey of personal and professional transformation. We see how participants grow over the course of a year and a half — their confidence increases, their perspectives broaden, and their ability to make strategic decisions becomes stronger. What’s especially valuable is that they leave the program with a clear understanding of their role in business and readiness to face new challenges.

Throughout the program, participants not only expanded their professional horizons but also built strong, lasting peer connections — the alumni network remains one of the program’s key resources.

Ekaterina Artemenkova

Director of the Finance Department, Gardia Insurance Company

I asked my classmates to name three words they associate with the program, and I turned their answers into a word cloud. The most frequent word was unexpected, yet very accurate — ‘pleasure.’ During the program, we learned to enjoy studying, networking, and facing challenges. And perhaps the most important thing we gained is the ability to remain calm in the most intense situations and to see opportunities even in difficulties.

Andrey Dementyev

Founder of the “Elephant Park” family project in Sochi

Over these one and a half years, we didn’t just master tools like strategic management, Agile, and financial analysis — we learned to see value in people, in teams, in our environment. We learned from one another, admired and supported each other — and it was in this atmosphere that ideas, projects, and a real team were born.

Olga Komleva

Director of IT Solutions Department, SONET Group

This morning, as I was heading to the airport, I realized it was my last trip for the MBA program. It’s a warm sadness and a deep sense of pride at the same time. We gained knowledge, we gained friends, and most importantly — we made the right choice by coming here. I want to wish everyone to stay curious, keep learning, and keep moving forward.

The graduation of the MBA class at HSE Graduate School of Business marks a significant contribution to the development of innovative, responsible leaders who are transforming organizations and the world. The next cohort of the MBA program is set to begin this fall, and the admissions campaign is already underway.
