The HSE Graduate School of Business Expands Its Geography of Global Cooperation

Within the framework of international mobility development, the HSE Graduate School of Business has signed new cooperation and exchange agreements with the leading universities and business schools of China and Indonesia. The School of Economics and Management at Tongji University, one of the oldest universities in China, and the Business School of Binus University (Indonesia), which is ranked among the top 10 universities in Indonesia, became the partners of the HSE.

 “The expansion in geography of the international cooperation of the HSE Graduate School of Business fully corresponds to the changes in the priority directions of foreign economic activity of Russian business. I would say that our increased attention is centered on BRICS+. We must train professionals ready to work in the markets that are completely new for Russia. It is crucial to form an adequate idea of how to run business in Russia and with Russia in these countries. The first students of the Indonesian Binus University are ready to engage in our exchange programme,” Ivan Prostakov, the Deputy Director of the HSE Graduate School of Business in International Relations, noted.

The Tongji University is a state university established in 1907 that is one of the oldest and leading universities in China. The university is located within the city limits of Shanghai. It is ranked 14th among the best universities in China. It occupies the 192nd place in the world ranking (QS World University Rankings). The School of Economics and Management at Tongji University received the prestigious AACSB, EQUIS, and CAMEA accreditation, ranks 66th in the prestigious Financial Times Master in Management ranking, and occupies 8th place among ATP business schools, according to the Financial Times.

The Indonesian Binus University was established in 1981 in Jakarta, and is included in the top 10 of Indonesian universities.

The Business School of Binus University is officially accredited by AACSB. Curriculums of educational programs are constantly updated in accordance with modern tendencies and the development of local and international branches of industry. Bachelor's and Master's Degree Programs in Management at the Business School of Binus University received the highest rating from the national accreditation agency for higher education (BAN-PT) of the Republic of Indonesia.

The curriculum of the Business School of Binus University emphasizes professionalism, entrepreneurship skills, and ethics, which are used in small and large businesses on local and international levels.

The new agreements broadened the international partnership network of the HSE Graduate School of Business and gave its students more opportunities to gain international experience, build new relationships, and expand their knowledge of the Global South.
