Representatives from HSE GSB participated in the 2021 EFMD Annual Conference

The EFMD Annual Conference took place online from 18 to 20 October 2021. First Vice-Rector of HSE University, Dean of the HSE Graduate School of Business Valery Katkalo and Deputy Dean for Internationalisation Anna Di Nardo represented HSE GSB.

The conference allowed participants to discuss the most relevant topics of modern business education, including the future of faculty; the future of learning; the future of collaboration; how to create an international learning experience; business school’s role: supporting human flourishing, enabling mental health, well-being and building resilience; teaching new in-demand skills in business schools using online technology; new competitive landscape: risks and opportunities; business schools & social justice: what are our roles, challenges, and opportunities; EFMD accreditation: changes in standards and criteria for assessing the quality of programmes and business schools; new assumptions for the new economy, and many other topics. The conference programme included opportunities for panel discussions on specific topics and a networking platform. Conference speakers featured representatives from leading universities, such as ESCA, Rotterdam School of Management, Singapore Management University, Birmingham Business School, Manchester Metropolitan University and others.

The EFMD conference brings together EFMD members, business partners, universities and business schools, as well as others interested in the development of management education, and offers a chance to exchange best practices and discuss trends in business education.
