Roundtable "Opportunities and Challenges of Distributed Ledger Technology Implementation" was Held as Part of the April Conference
April 16, in the ‘Management’ section of the XXII April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development, a roundtable "Opportunities and Challenges of Distributed Ledger Technology Implementation" was held. It was chaired by Mikhail Komarov, Professor of HSE Graduate School of Business, Academic Supervisor of the 'Electronic Business and Digital Innovations' programme. The meeting was held in English with the participation of international guests.
The main issues that were discussed at the roundtable:
- Case studies of the implementation of distributed ledger technology in the banking sector;
- Applying blockchain to disaster management;
- Currently open research questions and opportunities for DLT implementation (modelling approaches, trade-offs, benchmarks, etc.)
- Challenges in DLT implementation and how to overcome them.
