Winners of the Student Research Paper Competition 2020 are Announced
The Student Research Paper Competition has come to an end. Any student or alumni of 2020 could participate. The winners were selected in two nominations for each field of study: the best research paper written by bachelor’s students and the best research paper written by master’s students.
HSE Graduate School of Business curates two fields of study on the competition: ‘Business Informatics’ and ‘Management’. On February 8, Award ceremony of the Student Research Paper Competition took place. Sergey Kushch, GSB deputy dean for research and head of the Department of Operations Management and Logistics, gave an opening speech and congratulated the winners.
Vasily Kornilov, associate professor of the Department of Business Informatics, and Kira Reshetnikova, associate professor of the Department of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, announced the competition winners. Students’ academic advisors, Mikhail Komarov, professor of the Department of Business Informatics, and Alexander Lebedev, senior lecturer of the Department of Marketing, also congratulated the winners. Marina Predvoditeleva, a member of the expert committee of the competition and associate professor of the Department of Strategic and International Management, gave a speech about the importance of the competition and students’ works.
Taisiya Garizan, GSB alumni of 2020 and a co-author of one of the best works in the field of Business Informatics, thanked the experts of the competition for high evaluation of her teams’ work and expressed confidence in the fact that winning in this competition will motivate and inspire her colleagues and herself for research activity.
