X5, as a strategic partner of the HSE Graduate School of Business, organized a vibrant ceremony for graduates of all the business school’s master’s programs.

X5 inspired HSE GSB graduates toward career achievements

More than 300 graduates of HSE GSB and guests of the event gathered at the creative space "X5 Sphere." Ksenia Mardanova, Director for Educational Institutions Relations at X5, warmly welcomed the attendees and presented the event program — from career consultations and photo shoots to the evening “Master’s Party” featuring current music hits.

Alexander Gabrielov

Deputy Director of the HSE Graduate School of Business

“Today is not a finish line, but a new stage in the professional journey that you began two years ago. The values and knowledge acquired within the walls of HSE GSB are a valuable competitive advantage. Continue to improve your skills, do not be afraid to introduce innovations, and remember: true success comes to those who are willing to learn and adapt in a constantly changing world.”

It is worth noting that X5 is a strategic partner of HSE GSB’s master’s program “B2C Business Management: Technology and Innovation” (formerly “Retail Management”). The fruitful partnership between the business school and Russia’s leading grocery retail company provides students with practical experience. Students participate in projects and internships at X5 and solve real business cases. This approach develops graduates’ competencies necessary for leading roles in retail, e-commerce, the financial sector, and the FMCG industry.

Vladimir Salakhutdinov

First Deputy CEO of X5

“The modern market demands fundamentally new professional competencies — more flexible, digital, and adaptive. That’s why we view educational projects as a strategic investment and are building a systematic program for training future professionals for our company.”

Recalling the beginning of his own career after university, the top manager advised HSE GSB graduates not to fear difficult decisions — not to draw up an ideal plan, but to choose tasks “the solutions to which make you grow.” Vladimir’s second piece of advice was the importance of developing contacts and networking within a community of leaders — one of the core values of quality education at a leading business school. His third inspirational message to the audience was that “we are living in a time of very rapid digital transformation and technological change. This means that all the career elevators are now open for a new generation that possesses knowledge of these digital technologies. Unique opportunities await all of you!

Yulia Goryainova

Graduate of HSE GSB’s Master’s Program in Retail Management

“Today, another chapter has come to a close — earning a master’s degree. This diploma has become a symbol of the experience, patience, and effort that will undoubtedly pay off many times over. Studying in the HSE GSB program gave me tremendous experience and confidence in my future professional growth.”

The celebration at the creative space “X5 Sphere” continued for the graduates with gifts, career consultations from the company, informal networking, and various other activities.
