HSE Graduate School of Business and Health&Nutrition Conducted Executive Training for the Company’s Leadership Team
Over the course of five months, 58 participants gained a unique educational experience focused on developing managerial, strategic, and operational competencies essential for achieving the company’s long-term business goals. The training took place on the Shabolovka campus of the GSB, a space tailored for adult learning and development.
Participants studied strategic planning, financial leadership, operations management, decision-making, and risk management. Special attention was given to design thinking methodology, which helped the leadership team learn to apply innovative approaches to solving business challenges.
The Health&Nutrition Learning and Development Department and the Corporate Education Center of the HSE Graduate School of Business created an exclusive educational experience for business leaders. Internal experts from Health&Nutrition played a significant role in developing the “Business Leader of the Future” program: it was created with active involvement of senior executives and the company’s Management Committee.
As part of the “Leaders Teach Leaders” format, top executives shared their expertise on key topics. This approach not only allowed participants to learn best practices and strategies from successful leaders but also strengthened a culture of mutual learning and knowledge exchange within the company. It was a vital step in building leadership competencies and creating a unified vision among the top management team.
The culmination of the program was the defense of group projects. Teams formed at the start of the program presented the results of their work on ambitious challenges in key areas of Health&Nutrition’s development:
- Logistics Optimization: Teams proposed innovative solutions to streamline logistics processes, aiming to increase efficiency and reduce costs;
- New Products: Participants presented concepts for new products and services that address current market needs and align with the company’s strategic goals;
- B2B Projects: Promising ideas were introduced to strengthen the company’s position in the B2B segment and expand its client base.

A high-quality project track is the driving force of a development program. Working in small cross-functional teams, participants applied design thinking in practice, tackled the company’s strategic challenges, enhanced their flexibility, proactivity, data-driven decision-making, and, of course, their presentation skills in front of the company’s Management Committee.
"We believe that investing in employee development means investing in the company’s future. The project track in our training program is not just important — it’s a key element that transforms theoretical knowledge into practical skills and enables participants to make a direct contribution to achieving the company’s strategic goals. The successful defense of the projects is clear evidence of the effectiveness of our approach and the high potential of our employees." — notes Elena Koblyuk, Vice President of Human Resources, Health&Nutrition.
The completion of the program was a significant milestone for the entire leadership team and management of Health&Nutrition. The knowledge, skills, and projects developed during the training will contribute to the company’s ongoing growth, market leadership, and implementation of innovative solutions.
