From January 11th to 17th, students from the HSE University Graduate School of Business (GSB) participated in their first short-term mobility program in Africa, travelling to Morocco. This trip wasn't about seeking exoticism, but about understanding how to build business dialogue with the Global South.

The online master's program “Marketing Management” is originally designed for distance learning. However, this year, at the initiative of students who expressed a desire to start their studies with in-person communication and getting to know each other, Knowledge Day was held in a hybrid format. On October 3, first-year students met on the HSE GSB campus on Shabolovka, and those who could not come joined online — together they launched the new academic year.

In July, the HSE Graduate School of Business (HSE GSB) hosted official graduation ceremonies for students of five bachelor’s programs and twelve master’s programs. Degrees were awarded to 675 bachelor’s and 785 master’s graduates, with 25 and 37 of them respectively graduating with honors.

The bachelor's programmes of the HSE Graduate School of Business in Business Administration and Marketing and Market Analytics and the English-language Master's programme of HSE ISSEK ‘Governance of Science, Technology and Innovation’ have been accredited by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). Earlier, the Master’s in Finance offered by HSE University in St. Petersburg also received accreditation in the Economics category. Having four degree programmes recognized by EFMD is an unrivalled achievement for Russian universities.

The all-Russia competition, a project of the Russia — Land of Opportunities presidential platform, saw the students compete with other teams of young contestants. The team led by Alexander Aksyutin, a master’s student of the HSE Graduate School of Business, received a grant of 1.4 million Russian rubles, which the team plans to spend on a social project to promote tourism in Voronezh Oblast.
