From January 11th to 17th, students from the HSE University Graduate School of Business (GSB) participated in their first short-term mobility program in Africa, travelling to Morocco. This trip wasn't about seeking exoticism, but about understanding how to build business dialogue with the Global South.

From November 3 to 14, 2025, undergraduate and master's students of the Graduate School of Business (GSB) participated in a specially designed international program organized by the National School of Business Bangalore, India (NSB Bangalore).

Students of the Bachelor's program in Marketing and Market Analytics at the HSE Graduate School of Business successfully defended their course projects, developed in response to real briefs from Russian and international companies.

Two hundred participants of HSE GSB’s professional retraining programs have received diplomas in high-demand fields including management, marketing, HR, and finance.

On May 19–20, 2025, the Graduate School of Business at HSE University hosted a Spring School for students enrolled in the dual-degree Business Management program, jointly run with Yaroslav Mudriy Novgorod State University (NovSU).

Within the framework of international mobility development, the HSE Graduate School of Business has signed new cooperation and exchange agreements with the leading universities and business schools of China and Indonesia. The School of Economics and Management at Tongji University, one of the oldest universities in China, and the Business School of Binus University (Indonesia), which is ranked among the top 10 universities in Indonesia, became the partners of the HSE.

The bachelor's programmes of the HSE Graduate School of Business in Business Administration and Marketing and Market Analytics and the English-language Master's programme of HSE ISSEK ‘Governance of Science, Technology and Innovation’ have been accredited by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). Earlier, the Master’s in Finance offered by HSE University in St. Petersburg also received accreditation in the Economics category. Having four degree programmes recognized by EFMD is an unrivalled achievement for Russian universities.

In the recently published US News Best Global Universities rankings, HSE University now appears in six subject rankings—an increase from four in 2020. The two latest additions are in Arts and Humanities (ranked 207^th) and Psychiatry/Psychology (ranked 374^th). The university once again placed highly in Mathematics (85^th), maintaining its position among the top 100 universities worldwide in the subject and ranking second among Russian institutions.

For the second year in a row, five HSE University master’s programmes have appeared in the QS Business Masters ranking. Moreover, the programmes in International Business and Financial Economics have improved their positions in the Top 100 of the ranking.

HSE University is now represented in eight subject rankings of the Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects. In five of these subjects, HSE is the only university from Russia, and in three other subjects, HSE outranks its domestic peers. HSE University is thereby the highest-ranking Russian university in the ranking.
