An international team of experts has received the award for the Best Professional Development Workshop (PDW) from the Management Education and Development (MED) Division at the 85th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AOM 2025). The team was led by Ekaterina Ivanova, Associate Professor at HSE Graduate School of Business; Isabel Rimanoczy, founder of the UN Global Compact PRME Working Group on Sustainability Mindset; and Divya Singhal, Professor at the Goa Institute of Management. The event took place from July 25 to 29 in Copenhagen, the first European capital in the Academy’s history to host the conference outside the American continent.

GSB professors Anja and Zeljko Tekic took part in the 31st International Joint Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IJCIEOM), held from June 23 to 25, 2025, at the Polytechnic University of Bari, Italy.

The HSE Graduate School of Business has received international accreditation to deliver the Project Management course in accordance with the IPMA ICB 4.0 global standard.

The initiative of the Graduate School of Business at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE GSB) has been named a laureate of the annual “Best ESG Projects in Russia” program. The results were announced on June 25 in Moscow.

The United Nations Global Compact Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) Chapter Eurasia held its Third Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 30th and an innovative PRME i5 workshop in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. HSE University Graduate School of Business was represented by Dr. Ekaterina Ivanova. HSE GSB Associate Professor of Strategic and International Management played a key role in both events as a member of the PRME Eurasia Steering Committee and co-facilitator of the PRME i5 pedagogy workshop.

On April 14, 2025, as part of the MAGOLEGO course "Corporate Sustainability Management in a Globalized World," taught by Dr. Ekaterina Ivanova, Associate Professor at the Department of Strategic and International Management of the HSE Graduate School of Business, a guest lecture was held featuring invited speaker Andrey Kosko — Senior Consultant and Head of Kesarev’s Practice in Belarus, a leading specialist in GR and ESG consulting, and author of two popular science books on international energy relations.

The 12th edition of the International Week on Sustainability (I-Week) took place from 24 to 28 March 2025 at the University of Antwerp – Faculty of Business and Economics, bringing together 559 students from 27 partner institutions across six continents. This year’s event was a remarkable convergence of academic expertise, industry insights, and cross-cultural collaboration, reinforcing the importance of sustainability in today’s globalized world.

Igor Gurkov, Professor at the Department of Strategic and International Management at the HSE Graduate School of Business and Tenured Professor at HSE University, has been appointed as a reviewer for one of the world’s leading academic journals in the field of management — Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS). The journal is the official publication of the Academy of International Business (AIB) and is included in the prestigious FT50 list, which features the top 50 journals in business research globally.

Over 200 representatives of leading companies and business education experts gathered at the HSE Graduate School of Business to attend the presentation of the book showcasing the results of the third wave of research on corporate universities in Russia.
