Faculty and alumni from HSE University’s Graduate School of Business (HSE GSB) took part in the 13th Responsible Management Education Research (RMER) Conference, held from September 2 to 4, 2026, at Leuphana University of Lüneburg, Germany. The conference, organized under the theme “Reclaim, Resist, Reimagine: Sustainability and the Future of Responsible Management Education,” brought together an international community of scholars committed to advancing sustainability and responsible management in higher education.

Master’s students from the HSE Graduate School of Business recently participated in an international intensive programme in Bangkok, hosted by the Sasin School of Management

The HSE Graduate School of Business recently welcomed prospective undergraduates from the Academic Lyceum "International House Tashkent". The Lyceum has been a key partner of the Higher School of Economics for five years. A group of 34 lyceum students visited the Shabolovka campus. During the visit, they explored the educational opportunities at HSE GSB and learnt about the unique features of its undergraduate programmes.

HSE Graduate School of Business has signed cooperation and exchange agreements with the Business Faculty of City University of Macau (China) and XLRI School of Management in India.

From January 11th to 17th, students from the HSE University Graduate School of Business (GSB) participated in their first short-term mobility program in Africa, travelling to Morocco. This trip wasn't about seeking exoticism, but about understanding how to build business dialogue with the Global South.

On December 4th, an award ceremony for participants of AIM2Flourish, an international program on sustainable business, was held at the HSE University Graduate School of Business. A delegation from the HSE Graduate School of Business took part in the 12th international "Responsible Management Education Research Conference" (RMERC 2025), held from October 21 to 23 in the Serbian capital by the Faculty of Organizational Sciences at the University of Belgrade and the PRME Working Group on Poverty. RMERC is one of the world's leading platforms for discussing current practices in developing responsible business education, facilitating dialogue among scholars on cutting-edge research results, and implementing new educational approaches.

In today’s business world — whether in Russia or on the global stage — success is impossible without mastering the art of negotiation. It is a fundamental skill that distinguishes outstanding professionals and turns challenges into opportunities. On October 21, as part of the “Made in Russia” Forum, the School of Export of the Russian Export Center (REC) held the “Student Tournament on Negotiations with Foreign Partners.” This year, the tournament reached a new level: for the first time, the competition was conducted simultaneously in three languages — Russian, English, and Chinese.

An international team of experts has received the award for the Best Professional Development Workshop (PDW) from the Management Education and Development (MED) Division at the 85th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AOM 2025). The team was led by Ekaterina Ivanova, Associate Professor at HSE Graduate School of Business; Isabel Rimanoczy, founder of the UN Global Compact PRME Working Group on Sustainability Mindset; and Divya Singhal, Professor at the Goa Institute of Management. The event took place from July 25 to 29 in Copenhagen, the first European capital in the Academy’s history to host the conference outside the American continent.

The HSE Graduate School of Business has received international accreditation to deliver the Project Management course in accordance with the IPMA ICB 4.0 global standard.
