In preparation for the 2025–2026 academic year, the course “Raising Investment for a Startup” was redesigned for second-year students of the master’s program “Digital Product Management.” The course’s online format also made it possible to offer it as part of the MAGO-LEGO program.

In the second module of the 2025–2026 academic year, second-year students in the master’s program “Strategic Management: Investment and Consulting” were introduced to a new course, “Digital Finance.” The development of course materials, as well as the delivery of lectures and seminars in November–December 2025, involved active participation from a guest lecturer, Roman Starostin, a representative of Sputnik DFA. In 2025, the company announced plans to obtain the status of an Information System Operator (ISO) in the digital financial assets (DFA) market and spoke about the specific features of implementing such a project.

The HSE Graduate School of Business, in collaboration with industry experts, continues its work on a project dedicated to the Russian digital financial assets (DFA) market.

On May 24, as part of the Financial Management course for second-year students in the HSB bachelor’s program Business Management, a business simulation was held by experts from Ozon Bank. Course instructors Dmitry Lapin and Alexander Voiko invited the bank’s current senior managers to introduce students to real-world banking practice—yet in an interactive, game-based format, where industry experts and students could communicate, ask questions of interest, and receive answers in an informal setting.

The Graduate School of Business hosted a discussion forum “Financial Innovations for Business” on the topic “Digital financial assets - the best modern platform for crowdfunding and more?”. 

On December 12, the second joint meeting of the GSB internal research team and the Expert Group of the GSB Applied Research Project “Crowdfunding on CFA Platforms” was held.

On October 24, as part of the “Company Financial Policy” course, a seminar on financial instruments of the Russian petroleum products market was held for the 4th year BSc students of GSB. The speaker of the meeting was Vyacheslav Morii, Managing Director of AAA Capital Management JSC (Gazprombank), an experienced expert practitioner in the petroleum products market.

On October 9, the first meeting of the new phase of the Graduate School of Business applied research project “Crowdfunding on CFA platforms” was held.

On May 21 and 28, students of the educational program "Business Management" within the framework of the course "Insurance of entrepreneurial risks" met with experts of the insurance market and had the opportunity to get acquainted with the practice of running an insurance business

On April 8-9, 2024, the Sinara Investment Bank team held a master class for students of the HSE Graduate School of Business.

Dmitry Malov is a superfinalist of the presidential competition "Leaders of Russia", an open competition and a community of new generation leaders. A lecturer at the HSE Graduate School of Business answered questions from Andrey Sharomov, PR Director of the HSE Graduate School of Business, and spoke in an interview about the difficult competition, overcoming, motivation, inspiration and working with HSE students.

For the 2nd year students of the Business Management program, a new educational case developed by the Financial Management Department of the Higher School of Business of the Higher School of Economics was tested. The author of the case, associate professor Yulia Leevik, together with the co—author of methodological guidelines for teachers on working with this case, senior lecturer Alina Vakhrushina, discussed the challenges faced by a knitting factory with 18 years of production experience on the way to entering the modern universe of electronic commerce.

On December 20, 2022, within the framework of the project "Fundamental value and investment attractiveness of companies: choosing objects for investment in the process of equity crowdfunding", under the leadership of D. L. Volkov, a report was held by Berezinets I.V., Ilyina Yu.B., Volkov D.L. The 17th International Conference at the Academy of Global Studies and Practice.

On October 5-8, 2022, participants of the project "Fundamental value and investment attractiveness of companies: choosing objects for investment in the process of equity crowdfunding", led by D. L. Volkov, made presentations at the IX annual International scientific conference "Emerging Markets 2022" (EMC 2022):

On March 24, 2022, a methodological seminar "Combining management accounting and an expert approach in the decision support process" was held, organized by the Financial Management Department of the Higher School of Business of the Higher School of Economics.

On March 24, as part of the joint project of Sberbank PJSC and the Higher School of Business "A decision-making model and development of a new insurance product by the company for various client groups", at the invitation of Denis Kuzavlev, project manager and director of the Corporate Insurance Center of Sberbank PJSC, an excursion to Sberbank City was held for HSE students.

On March 22, a lecture by Ernst&Young on the topic "Data-driven financial function" was held in the auditorium at 10

On March 15, the K10 auditorium hosted another lecture from the Ernst&Young company series on corporate functions in companies, organized jointly with the Business Management educational program for students of the Financial Management specialization on the topic "Transformation of the planning and economic function of a large metallurgical holding".
