The Department of Financial Management was established in 2020 with the aim of providing finance-related courses for the degree and continuing professional education programs of the HSE University Graduate School of Business. The Department brings together faculty and researchers whose professional interests include corporate finance management, investments, financial and management accounting, and other related disciplines. Unlike other HSE departments with a focus on finance, the Department of Financial Management is oriented toward developing courses for students and participants of educational programs in the fields of “Management” and “Business Informatics.” The Department’s instructors have created unique courses delivered in both on-campus and online formats for all levels of education—from bachelor’s and master’s programs to MBA and DBA—using modern educational technologies.
