6 Steps to Mobility Programme

Step 1: Decide on the Programme
Exchange programme
Choose 1-3 applicable exchange programmes from the catalogue.
When making your choice, refer to the recommendations in the Matrix of correspondence of GSB Partner Universities.
Check the application statistics of past mobility calls and check the minimum GPA of students nominated to the partner universities.
QTEM
Programme will not be available for Spring 2023 exchange.
Choose 5 universities among the QTEM partners, where you have selected courses that fit your individual curriculum.

Step 2: Plan your budget
Before going on mobility it is important to calculate all financial costs and critically estimate your budget
Exchange programme
Plan your budget using information from Partner University Factsheet and Numbeo website. Tuition fees shall be waived at Partner Universities but all other costs incurred will be covered at the student’s own expense.
QTEM
Plan your budget using information from Partner University Factsheet and Numbeo website. Tuition fees shall be waived for studies at Partner Universities. The Faculty of Business and Management will offer students a scholarship equal to 150,000 roubles. All other incurred costs are covered at the student’s own expense.

Step 3: Prepare your Package of Documents
Save all of your documents in a signle PDF file and name it using this example: Smith_John_(Programme name).pdf. Create an individual PDF file for each university you're applying to.
Exchange programme
1. Request for Exchange Programme
Request has to be signed by the student and administration of the educational programme.
The request must be emailed to the study office at least 10 days before the application deadline for the exchange programme participation.
2. Proof of English Proficiency
The following documents will be accepted (check course catalogue):
- official IELTS/TOEFL certificates; results of HSE Independent English Exam based on IELTS format;
- Linguaskill test certificates
- the results of the HSE English language test.
3. Motivation Letter
Motivation Letter must be in English, appx. of 500 words.

4. Recommendation Letter
Recommendation Letter must be in English, written by your HSE professor, academic supervisor or programme head.
5. CV
Please, use the following CV template or your own template (in English)
6. Estimate of expenses
7. Preliminary Study Plan
Prepare a Preliminary study plan and add it to your application package.
QTEM
1. Request for Exchange Programme

2. Transcript
Please request the Transcript of Records (in English) from the programme office of your HSE University programme. Also, make a request for your Bachelor Diploma Supplement (in English).
3. CV
Please use the following CV template (in English)
In separate sections, you must mention:
1) your previous international experience
(during your studies at the university);
2) experience of working with quantitative data;
3) your professional experience and extracurricular achievements.
4. Motivation Letter
The Motivation Letter must be in English, appx. 500 words.
5. GMAT/GRE Certificate
You must submit the certificate by 15 May. If you fail to provide the certificate, your application will be automatically withdrawn by the QTEM Committee.
6. IELTS/TOEFL/CAE Certificate
If applicable
7. Recommendation Letter
The Recommendation Letter must be in English, written by your HSE professor, academic supervisor or programme head.
8. QTEM Agreement

Step 4: Apply
Exchange programme
Upload your documents here.
QTEM
Fill in the application form and upload your documents before 17 February

Step 5: Wait for the results
Exchange programme
Within 3 weeks after the application deadline, you will receive an email to @edu.hse.ru with the information about the results.
QTEM
At the end of March, the QTEM Committee will contact you via e-mail with their preliminary decision. The final decision will be announced upon receipt of the GMAT/GRE Certificate.

Step 7: Departure
Exchange programme
Approve Individual Study Plan
Within 10 working days after being nominated submit a draft version of individual study plan to the head of the educational programme. Submit signed and approved individual study plan to the International Office.
