Exchange Programs
Academic mobility for GSB students
Every full-time student of the Graduate School of Business has the right to apply for participation in a long-term outbound academic mobility program — a semester-long study abroad at a partner university.
The selection for mobility programs takes place twice a year: in autumn (August–September) and in spring (February–March).
To be eligible for the selection process, a student must:
-
have good academic performance,
-
have no academic debts,
-
possess and provide proof of English language proficiency at level B2 or C1 (depending on the requirements of the host university).
It is important to choose the partner university and its course offerings carefully — they should be comparable in content to the courses studied at GSB. We recommend using the "Matching Matrix" document (available below on the page) and reviewing the university profiles in the catalogue.
Partner universities offer a limited number of quota places — these are tuition-free places reserved specifically for GSB students. As a rule, the quota covers tuition only. All other expenses (travel, accommodation, meals, etc.) must be covered by the student. If your current and cumulative GPA is above 7.5 and you are actively involved in academic and extracurricular activities, you may apply for a GSB scholarship.
Each semester, mobility statistics are published to help you assess your chances of receiving a quota at your chosen university. We also recommend reading the answers to frequently asked questions.
!!! Please note: the academic mobility selection process run by GSB and the one run by HSE are two separate procedures. You may apply for both at the same time. Information about the HSE academic mobility program is available on their website.
