Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt is one of the largest universities of applied sciences in Bavaria, founded in 1807. The university is distinguished by its wide range of practice-oriented study programs, active research activities, international focus, digitalization, and extensive continuing education opportunities. THWS is located in two cities in Northern Bavaria — Würzburg and Schweinfurt — and has a student population of around 10,000.

What is important to know?

There are no tuition fees at the host university. However, students are required to cover administrative and other fees set by the host institution. Nomination is carried out through the GSB International Office.

!!! Please note: When applying for a visa, you must indicate freemover status, as there is no agreement between HSE GSB and THWS, and therefore we are unable to provide a partnership contract for visa purposes.
