Course selection restrictions: Undergraduate exchange students are not allowed to take graduate-level courses.
Only nominated students will receive an email invitation to access the online application system. An acceptance letter will be sent by email after all completed applications are received.

The College of Business will organize a mandatory orientation programme for incoming exchange students one week before the semester starts.
Administrative Fees: 600HKD (appr. $77). After the visa application is approved, students must also pay an additional fee of HKD 230 directly to the Hong Kong Immigration Department.
Accommodation: only undergraduate students are eligible to apply for student residence.
CityU offers, but does not guarantee, on-campus housing for exchange students. Students may apply for residence, but allocation is subject to a random lottery. If the housing application is unsuccessful, students must be prepared to secure off-campus accommodation independently. CityU will provide a list of available off-campus housing options for reference.
Visa: A student can apply for a student visa independently or request the university to apply on their behalf. In the latter case, nominated students must complete the online application and send all required documents for a student visa by courier or registered mail to CityU. The e-visa will be sent by email.
Health Insurance: insurance must cover the entire period of stay at CityU, as well as expenses for repatriation.
