On June 1, 2025, the Higher School of Business at HSE University hosted the most anticipated and large-scale student event of the academic year — the open-air festival GSB Summer Fest’25. The festival brought together over 1,500 students, alumni, prospective students, and faculty under the theme "Generations." Five eras, five visual codes, and five worldviews — all in one day.
At the end of April, the Graduate School of Business at HSE University hosted an award ceremony celebrating the school's top students and their achievements in professional and athletic competitions. Ninety-six participants and prize-winners were awarded by Valery Katkalo, Director of the HSE Graduate School of Business.
A team of students from the HSE University Graduate School of Business claimed victory in the nationwide case championship organized by Gazpromneft – Bituminous Materials.
On April 13, the Court Ball-themed Graduate School of Business (GSB) Ball took place in the Central Atrium on Pokrovsky Boulevard. The event became one of the key cultural highlights of the spring semester for HSE GSB students, bringing together over 350 participants — students, professors, staff members, and alumni. More than 300 guests took part in the dance program in pairs.
On March 4, as part of the 16th HSE University Spartakiad, indoor rowing competitions were held, where the Graduate School of Business team earned an honorable third place. The top three prizes went to the Faculty of Humanities (1st place), MIEM (2nd place), and GSB (3rd place).
On February 27, the HSE University Russian Bench Press competition came to a close. After a hard-fought contest, the team from the Graduate School of Business claimed first place.
On March 2, the final matches of the interfaculty volleyball tournament took place as part of the HSE Spartakiad. The team from the HSE Graduate School of Business (GSB) demonstrated exceptional professionalism, confidently advancing through the group stage and earning second place in the final.
In early February, a dynamic badminton tournament was held at the Iskra stadium as part of the HSE Spartakiad, where the team from the HSE Graduate School of Business won bronze medals. Despite the fierce competition on the court, the GSB team demonstrated a high level of skill, resilience, and team spirit.
The HSE Graduate School of Business Ambassadors Club is a young and fast-growing student initiative supported by the GSB Student Support Office. In February, the ambassadors visited the T2 company office, where they explored innovative solutions in telecommunications and learned about the company’s corporate culture.
From February 21 to 23, the city of Odintsovo hosted the All-Russian Karate Championship — one of the most prestigious and challenging competitions of the season. The event brought together over 2,000 participants from 42 regions of Russia.Dmitry Konyaev, a student of the HSE Graduate School of Business, took first place in his category — ages 18–20, up to 65 kg.
