In October, first-year students of the Master’s in International Management programme at the HSE University Graduate School of Business took part in an experiential arts-based learning visit to the GES-2 House of Culture in Moscow as part of the Business and Society course. The visit was organised by the course instructor, Ekaterina Ivanova, Associate Professor of the Department of Strategic and International Business, at the HSE University Graduate School of Business in cooperation with GES-2. It offered students an opportunity to explore sustainability, corporate responsibility, urban transformation, and the role of private art foundation in cultural life through direct engagement with a landmark cultural space.

The case collection of the HSE University Graduate School of Business (GSB) has a new addition. It looks at the challenges Russian companies face in an era of global labour migration. The case study “Nod If You Understand: How Cultural Codes Collided with the Russian Conveyor at Cherkizovo” and its teaching notes were developed by Liudmila Veselova and Svetlana Smeltsova. Both are Associate Professors at the Department of Strategic and International Management, HSE GSB. HSE University has registered the case and teaching notes as intellectual property.

The case study collection of the Graduate School of Business at HSE University has been enriched with new materials on the strategies of Russian companies in international markets. A case study on the Russian dating application Twinby has been registered, featuring Veronika Yakovleva, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of the company.

On September 22 the Russian launch of the book “The Power of Art-Based Pedagogies: Transforming Mindsets to Shape Our Future” took place at the HSE University Graduate School of Business (GSB) on the Shabolovka campus as part of the school’s research seminar series.

Faculty and alumni from HSE University’s Graduate School of Business (HSE GSB) took part in the 13th Responsible Management Education Research (RMER) Conference, held from September 2 to 4, 2026, at Leuphana University of Lüneburg, Germany. The conference, organized under the theme “Reclaim, Resist, Reimagine: Sustainability and the Future of Responsible Management Education,” brought together an international community of scholars committed to advancing sustainability and responsible management in higher education.

HSE Graduate School of Business Associate Professor Ekaterina Ivanova, participated in the PRME Global Forum 2026 under the theme “Global Unity Meets Local Impact” from June 29 to July 2 hosted by the American University in Cairo. The forum brought together leaders in responsible management education from around the world to advance sustainable and ethical business practices. This year's Responsible Management Education (RME) Week gathered over 400 scholars, educators, practitioners, and student communities from 58 countries across all regions of the world.

From 6 to 15 May 2026, HSE GSB bachelor students of the International Business programme and master students of the International Management programme took part in an intensive educational programme in China, organised by one of China's leading universities – Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). The ten-day course focused on global business decision-making, the digital economy and technological innovation in the age of artificial intelligence.

Students of the master's programme in International Management at the HSE Graduate School of Business have achieved outstanding recognition on the international stage by becoming finalists of the prestigious 2026 Flourish Prize competition. Under the guidance of AIM2Flourish Professor Ekaterina Ivanova, Associate Professor of GSB Strategic and International Management Department, the team—comprising Habeeb Adeyemo, Promise Yeboah Owusu, Phebe Adekunte, Nontapat Watanawigun, Jie Li, Christiana Yawson, and Abidullah Shinwari—was selected as one of the top finalists globally in the thematic category “Health, Well-being, and Human Development”  for their compelling story about HelpMum Africa.

Three GSB researches presented research on global product management, open innovation, and AI at the Elsevier–Tsinghua University conference in Beijing.
