Internships for Bachelor's Students
An internship is a mandatory academic activity during which you gain practical experience relevant to your future profession and learn more about companies as potential employers. The Career Center, together with the academic office of your study program, helps organize the internship placement process, handle the necessary documentation, and coordinate reporting. On this page, you will find general recommendations for successfully completing your internship, as well as up-to-date information regarding your upcoming internship.
Main steps
Study the internship program on your educational programme's page
The document containing all the information about the internship is located in the “For Students” → “Internship” section.
The program specifies all internship periods, dates, number of hours, goals and objectives, content requirements for internship placements, assessment criteria, etc.
* Four documents will be published on the page; refer to the one for your admission year.
Choose an internship placement
You can find a company on your own or apply for vacancies from Career Center partners.
Independent Search: apply to several companies or contact divisions of the Graduate School of Business (project and research laboratories). Pass the selection process and wait for feedback from the company or the GSB department. Upon a positive response, fill out the form about your internship placement.
!!! Make sure that the company meets all the criteria required for internship placements.
Applying to vacancies from Career Center partners: apply for vacancies (no more than 3) from the Career Center's partner companies (information about vacancies will be published in the Career Center's Telegram channel for your educational program). Wait for initial feedback from the company based on the CV screening (up to 10 working days after sending your resume). After passing the CV screening, continue the selection process: interview with HR, testing, interview with the hiring manager (different positions may have a different number of selection stages). The selection process typically takes 3 – 4 weeks.
You can find the deadlines in the instructions for your educational program.
