Platforms and tools for implementing the educational process

GSB Faculty can use the following corporate platform solutions and tools in their work

LMS

The LMS (Learning Management System) is an internal online support system for the educational process https://lms.hse.ru/.

The LMS is structured by disciplines. Each discipline has its own website in the system. All students studying a discipline in the current academic year automatically have access to this site. For each academic course, the teacher can:

• Upload curriculum;
• Post learning materials (assignments, cases, presentations, reading material, etc.)
• Conduct tests (current knowledge control or examinations);
• Keep a grade book;
• Collect and store students' independent work (essays, term and graduation theses, projects, etc.);
• Communicate with students and conduct consultations.

MS Teams

MS Teams is a cloud space for group work, which is part of the Office 365 package and is distributed by the HSE corporate subscription. MS Teams is the main tool to support the educational process. The platform combines features such as:

• chat;
• organising users into thematic teams;
• video meetings;
• collaborative work on documents;
• creating and checking tasks;
• file storage,
• and much more.

MS Teams cloud service is available to all students, faculty and staff of HSE. Log in under corporate credentials (login (email@hse.ru; email@edu.hse.ru), password). Access to the service is granted by default to all students and employees who have a corporate email account at HSE. To add an external user to the team, use the instructions.

START EXAM

StartExam is a cloud-based testing service. Allows you to create tests, run tests and get an objective assessment of knowledge. The system is designed to enter quiz/exam assignments and further assign these assignments to students for completion according to the timetable.

WEBINAR.RU

Webinar.ru is a cloud-based online webinar service. Webinar is one of the ways to support all kinds of online events involving a huge number of people from different parts of the world.
