Students' experience
CAU Summer Program 2025 (South Korea)
Maria Sologub, Business Administration Program
My trip to the CAU Summer Program at Chung-Ang University became one of the brightest events of my life. Before this, I knew Korea mostly through K-pop, dramas, and a little bit through its food, but being there, I realized how much deeper and more fascinating the country’s culture is.
The program was very rich and engaging. We not only studied but also took part in amazing activities: we climbed the N Seoul Tower, tried on a hanbok, attended a Korean baseball match, learned K-pop dancing, and watched the Nanta show. What impressed me the most was how Koreans know how to make every event emotional and heartfelt — whether it’s sports, dancing, or simply walking up Namsan Mountain.
The academic part was equally interesting. Thanks to the course "South Korea in the World," I gained a better understanding of how the country transitioned from dictatorship to democracy, the challenges it faced along the way, and how all of this shaped modern Korea.
What I loved most about the program is that it was all about connection — connecting with the culture, with people, and with yourself. After this trip, Korea is no longer just about trends for me; it’s a place with deep traditions, warm people, and a rich history.
Thank you, HSE GSB and CAU, for this incredible experience! I will definitely come back to Korea again!

EM Normandie Summer School 2025 (France)
Anastasia Shakhura, Marketing and Market Analytics Program (Leadership & Becoming track)
"This is not just a course but a complete reboot of the way you think! The main insight: a true leader starts with working on yourself as a person. I especially loved the practical format — we analyzed complex cases, learned to reflect on our reactions, and looked at management through the lens of personal growth. Two weeks of intensive studies flew by thanks to the perfect balance between academic work and extracurricular activities organized by the partner university. The international atmosphere of the campus made it easy to meet friends from all over the world and enjoy Parisian evenings together."
Liliya Mukhamedova, Business Administration Program (Creation in Luxury Universes)
"It was an incredible experience — learning how luxury brands operate from a professor who is also the director of a Parisian glossy magazine. We explored how creative directors, inspired by the history and traditions of the brands, create something entirely new. We studied fashion, cosmetics, jewelry, perfumery, French gastronomy, and even the culture of national beverages. I especially appreciated the focus on practical assignments, which made the learning process even more valuable. And, of course, the fact that all of this was happening in Paris — the capital of fashion and luxury — added a special charm to the course!"
Sofia Tsallaeva, Business Administration Program (Creation in Luxury Universes)
"Studying in Paris was a true discovery for me! The atmosphere and the format of the classes immediately reminded me of our home campus. It was fascinating to immerse myself in the spirit of France, walk through the charming streets, and draw inspiration from the city's unique style. The professor was wonderful — understanding and always on the same wavelength with the students. I especially remember the unusual and very creative exam format, which encouraged us to think outside the box. This was not just a learning experience, but a real journey filled with knowledge, emotions, and an endless desire to come back for new discoveries!"
Ilana Rubinova, Business Administration Program (Creation in Luxury Universes)
"This trip left a lasting impression on me. Immersing myself in the world of the luxury industry in the fashion capital was a true revelation. The unique learning format, the opportunity to absorb knowledge from someone closely working with leading fashion houses, and the practical assignments revealed the subtleties of creating modern trends harmoniously combined with the rich traditions of the brands. I gained invaluable knowledge and inspiration through direct interaction with professionals and like-minded peers. The vibrant city life and the warmth of Parisians helped me feel the unique atmosphere and special lifestyle that make Paris truly one of a kind. Combined with the studies, it allowed me to fully dive into the world of the luxury industry and experience it firsthand."
