Getting to India’s “Silicon Valley”? Easy!

Bangalore: The Garden City and the “Silicon Valley” of India

Known as the “Garden City” and the “Silicon Valley” of India, Bangalore (officially Bengaluru) is a haven for techies and entrepreneurs. The city is renowned for its high concentration of IT companies, making it a magnet for talented people from all over the world. It is home to global IT giants like Google, Microsoft, Infosys, as well as many startups that are shaping the future of technology.

Thanks to the combination of India’s rapidly growing aerospace, biotechnology, and information technology industries, Bangalore has grown from a small town into India’s third most populous metropolis. Experts estimate that about half of all Indian startups are based here, making the city a major player on the global stage. Moreover, Bangalore accounts for 38% of the country’s IT exports, underscoring its importance to India’s economy.

The city is also renowned for its high standard of living. It holds the first place in terms of quality of life among all Indian cities with a population of over a million people. Various parks, modern infrastructure projects, and cultural initiatives make life in Bangalore comfortable and rich.
