Ghita Fahim, an Admissions Manager at HEC Paris, spoke to second and third year GSB bachelor students about the business school, learning model, life on campus, additional professional certificates and career prospects.

HSE students who have completed their third year will enrol at HEC Paris M1 level, which counts towards their fourth year at HSE. In their second year at HEC Paris GSB students may either continue studying (M2) having chosen one of the offered specializations, or take a gap year and do an internship in one or more companies in France or abroad.

When selecting candidates, the French admission board not only considers the candidates' outstanding academic performance, but pays attention to the applicants' active lifestyle and extracurricular activities as well. All applicants must have a high level of English proficiency in order to successfully complete the Master in Management programme (TOEFL 100+, IELTS 7.0+). Despite the high competition, GSB students have an advantage of being nominated by HSE University and more chance to be accepted for  the programme.

The Master's programme at HEC Paris is fee-based, however, the business school offers scholarships of €3,000 - €13,000 for academic excellence. In the second year of studies, students will be able to apply for an Eiffel Scholarship (around €11,000, plus travel expenses).

Students may apply for the Combined Degree Programme until April 16. More information about the requirements and rules for participation may be found here.
