International Students of HSE Graduate School of Business join English-language bus tour of Moscow

On October 18, international students from the Graduate School of Business explored iconic landmarks of Moscow during an English-language bus tour organized by the HSE GSB International Office. Participants from nine countries learned about the city’s history, enjoyed the autumn views, and expressed their desire for more cultural events in the future.

On Saturday, October 18, international students of the HSE Graduate School of Business took part in a bus tour of Moscow in English. The students visited Vorobyovy Gory, the Novodevichy Convent complex, and Red Square. They had the opportunity to admire the beautiful autumn views of the capital, listen to stories about how Moscow was created, which famous names are connected to its centuries-long history, and how the city came to look the way it does today.

Students from the following programs took part in the tour: “International Business,” “International Management,” “Business Analytics and Big Data Systems,” “Business Informatics,” “Operational Excellence and Production Systems”, and “Marketing: Digital Technologies and Marketing Communications.” The group included participants from nine different countries: Pakistan, India, Bahrain, Iran, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Bangladesh, and Nigeria.

The students quickly found common ground, were impressed by the tour, and expressed a desire to have such cultural events more often.
