Job Search Resources: Where to Look for Opportunities?

We recommend asking yourself this question as early as possible.

It’s important to be well-acquainted with different job search sources and monitor them regularly to ensure you don’t miss the right opportunity.

When planning your job search strategy, we recommend not limiting yourself to just one resource. Using multiple channels significantly increases your chances of finding a suitable position.

Internships and Traineeships

Landing an internship or traineeship at a company you're interested in, proving yourself, and securing a full-time offer is an excellent path for candidates who don’t yet have work experience. Many companies run internship recruitment all year round, so we recommend keeping an eye on updates on company websites, social media pages, and job platforms—and submitting your application when a relevant opportunity comes up.

You can find current internships and job vacancies here.

Job Search Websites

On job search platforms, you can find vacancies for both experienced candidates and those without experience. These platforms allow for different search strategies—either by actively applying to vacancies of interest or by simply uploading your resume and waiting for responses (passive search). Both methods are valid—it all depends on your current goals.

Popular websites include:

Case Competitions and Business Challenges

These are organized both internally by companies and externally by platforms like https://changellenge.com/. A major advantage of these formats is that multiple companies often participate, giving you the chance to connect with a wide range of employers and get a closer look at potential career paths. These events are also a great way to expand your peer network.

Your Personal Network

More often than not, your personal network can help you find a great opportunity quickly. If you’re job hunting, tell everyone—chances are, someone in your network (or their connections) is hiring or knows of an open position that matches your profile.

Events from the University Career Center

University career centers regularly host events in partnership with major companies: guest lectures, employer days on campus, job fairs, case competitions, and more. While it’s unlikely you can attend every event, it’s important to choose the ones that align with your interests and actively participate. A thoughtful question, a relevant comment, or a casual conversation with a company representative can go a long way in building connections and achieving your goals.

You can follow updates on events organized by our Career Center via the Career Hub Telegram channel.

Social Media

Follow the social media pages of companies you’re interested in to stay updated on new job openings and events. We also recommend following specialized groups and channels dedicated to job search topics.

Examples of Telegram channels:

Company-Sponsored Educational Programs

Many large companies organize free educational events for students and recent graduates—especially in the summer—where they teach the basics of specific professions and solve practical cases with participants. These programs often aim to identify the most talented and engaged students and offer them entry-level positions. Participating in these programs is a great way to build skills and possibly land your first job.
