Congratulations to the winners of the first round of the photo contest!

The first round of the GSB 2021 Once in a lifetime mobility students photo contest is over, and the winners in the Globetrotting and Partner Universities categories are Arina Makarova and Ivan Kornienko.

Congratulations to the winners of the first round of the photo contest!

Arina is a Master's student from Experience Economy: Hospitality Management and Tourism programme. Currently she is studying at Luiss Business School. If you have questions about where our academic partner is based, just look at the photo to find out the location of one of Italy's most prestigious universities. Overall, this fall 92 GSB students are engaged in mobility programmes alongside Arina, studying in top-ranked schools of Europe and Asia.

Ivan is a Bachelor student from Business Administration programme. Looking at the picture, you can easily tell the name of the school where he is studying - Tilburg University in the Netherlands, one of the most popular universities among GSB students. Ivan, congratulations, it is great when a person has such versatile talents!

A photo blogger @alissia_way who held a series of photography workshops with our students, praised the quality of pictures taken by the winners and participants of the contest, "Great shots! Especially the Colosseum. It's very difficult to take a photo in such a beautiful leap. I looked at all the pictures the contestants took for the contest. You could see that the guys were trying to follow my advice. The composition is well calculated, the poses for the photo are very well chosen. Even the colors of clothing and locations match well in the frame”.

We are anticipating more pictures in the In class category. We hope ourstudents will show us how education in the walls of universities in Europe and Asia is different from that in GSB. The deadline for the next round is November 1.

We would like to remind you that the finals of the Once in a lifetime photo contest will be held in February in 5 categories - Globetrotting, Partner Universities, In class, Having fun, Kudos. Prizes will be awarded to the winners and there will be an exhibition in the GSB co-working space for the best photos.

A special appreciation to everyone who voted. The most active likers will also be acknowledged!
