Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg

Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) is a research university in Germany. It was founded in 1743, making it one of the oldest in the country. The campuses are located in the cities of Erlangen and Nuremberg. FAU is the second-largest university in Bavaria, with a student population of 40,000. The educational process at the university is closely integrated with scientific research and is aimed at providing students with comprehensive training — both theoretical and practical.
