The ORO Basic Department at the Higher School of Economics is a unique educational platform for the development of practical and theoretical knowledge in the field of marketing research. The department’s staff consists of leading specialists and experts from ORO.
The department’s activities include courses such as “Marketing Research” (for undergraduate students) and “Modern Marketing Research” (for graduate students). As part of the curriculum, students study current methodologies and tools for marketing research. Contemporary practices are presented through case studies and business tasks, where knowledge about consumer behavior and motivation is applied.
The department places great emphasis on developing students’ practical skills, offering opportunities for work and internships at ORO. It regularly organizes master classes and case discussions. ORO also invites partners to give lectures and seminars, helping HSE students understand how marketing research is used in business to develop brands, build effective communication, create new products, and improve customer experience.
The goal of the basic department is to integrate business practices into the educational process, to develop courses on marketing research for undergraduate and graduate programs, and to conduct applied research activities through the creation of educational cases and the provision of additional opportunities for student internships and employment.
