HSE Graduate School of Business and Indian Institute of Management Indore agree on cooperation

HSE Graduate School of Business has signed a cooperation and exchange agreement with the Indian Institute of Management Indore, one of India’s top-ranked business schools.

HSE Graduate School of Business and Indian Institute of Management Indore agree on cooperation

The agreement broadens HSE GSB's engagement with key academic centers across the Global South. The Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM) was created in 1961 at the initiative of Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. The goal was to build a new kind of management elite - professionals who combined engineering education, including training at Soviet universities with modern management skills. Over time, the IIM system became a network of top business schools, many of which are ranked globally and hold international accreditations.

IIM Indore is consistently ranked among the top five business schools in India and is in the top 100 of the Financial Times global ranking. It is one of the few schools in India with EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA accreditation.

Unlike many of its peers, IIM Indore combines postgraduate education with a five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) for high school graduates, opening the door to undergraduate exchange opportunities.

The new agreement with Indian Institute of Management Indore gives students of HSE GSB's main programs and MBA participants access to international tracks, exchange programs and short-term modules in India. These exchanges provide access to unique teaching practices in a country with a fast-growing business education market. Faculty members and researchers will also be able to collaborate and share best management practices with colleagues from one of India’s leading business schools.
